Does anyone actually read anything but fantasy around these parts.

Er...I read science fiction like the Animorph series. Does that count?

Well, I had been reading one of the Warhammer fluff books, good read. Nice, gritty, dark dysponia: Like Science fiction is meant to be. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU!

Anything vaguely connected to the real world? Non-fiction?

Let's see... fantasy, sci fi, some thrillers, some random classics (you can get them for free as e-books, cos they're out of copyright. Not got around to starting War and Peace yet, though...)...

Free books (Dad buys them). Might as well read them.

Yeah, I read random books.
I'm reading Thud! by Terry Pratchett now, as mindless entertainment. For thought provoking stuff, I have my Lit books *sigh*.
Nothing to see here, move along.
Running with the Demon trilogy by Terry Brooks is Urban Fantasy. Does that count? And my friends have noticed I only read fantasy. They said the only reason I didn't like Angels and Demons by Dan Brown is because there weren't any real angels and demons. :D

I'm reading a Warhammer 40K book for some reason...

"Hope is the first step on the road to disapoinment."
"You ask me why we must kill the Xeno? I ask you: Why not?"
"Burn the Heretic. Kill the Mutant. Purge the Unclean."

Sci Fi is very qouatable. :P

"An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded."
"Knowledge is power. Hide it well."

40k quotes are always good.

I'm a 40k fan. My favourite quote:
Some ork lord wrote:"WAAAAAAGGGGHHH!!!!!"

...This is scary.

Whatever, this thread is claimed in the name of the immortal emperor of mankind.
Shame of the Super Son
I claim it in the name of the Gods of Chaos, who hate most the divine emperor of mankind. Slaanesh, Khorne, Tzeentch, and Nurgle.

I read loads of different stuff.

Right now, I'm reading the sequels to the Scarlet Pimpernel online at the Gutenburg project.

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
