Most certainly, my dear Apo!

Although I still haven't found an address. On one forum it was removed. *Grumbles*
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

And you wonder why?

There is a sort of busy worm,
That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

Well, look at how obessesive we've gotten over a lady who hates Harry Potter.

It's kind of weird.

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

I dont think i've heard anything about protests against the trilogy which is odd considering it is about magic. It's strange that Harry Potter gets so many people moaning about it, and yet this doesnt even though it's portrayal of magic is actually more wiccan than the magic in Harry Potter. The magic in Harry Potter is more like a childs fantasy where you run around with a wand shouting silly words, where as the Bartimaeus trilogy has the magicians summoning deamons. I know it isnt intended to be satanic or anything, but all these stupid religious people would probably think it is glorifying satanism.

^^ indeed, people these days love to moan about anything, especially the church, what ever happened to 'sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will words will never hurt me?" haha i robbed that off a monty python interview.
Haha i know the one. Any religion that worships a symbol of a man being crucified has to be pretty sick anyway.

Indeed, and the arch bishop was fingering his crucifix...but back to the point...it isnt uncommon for some church goers to take things out of context and go wild, and then lots of people just jump of the bandwagon.
We will all get our thirty pieces of silver, only joking. And yes, they do blow things out of proportion. They probably don't even read the books they protest about.

yeah i agree, thats what i mean about jumping on the bandwagon, alot of these protestors dont know what they are talking about.
Yeah that Laura Malory woman whos protesting over Harry Potter hasn't even read the books. How can you make an argument against something when you don't even know what your're trying to argue about.

what was she arguing about over harry potter? how can people protest over a childrens book that is written to entertain?
She was saying that it encouraged children to be satanists and the usual rubbish these protestors come out with. They cant see past the fact that it deals with magic. Even though Harry Potter is obviously a book which deals with moral issues and clearly shows good overcoming evil.

satanists? haha, what aload of rubbish, magic in thr right context is part of the genre of fantasy and has been enjoyed by many for hundreds of years. its ridiculous the lengths some people go to.

Ironically, satanism doesn't actually involve worshipping the devil.

Not in the literal sense, anyway.

Thanks.

Thanks a lot for telling me my religion is so sick.

Maybe I should leave before I kill all of you with my "sickness".

Can we please avoid religion bashing? I don't care about you bashing someone who's an obvious idiot, but please don't bash a whole religion.
Thankyou.

Satanism is basically the furtherment of the self above others.

He was actually quoting someone from an interview. Doesn't mean he actually finds it sick, though, perhaps there should of been quotation marks.

My classmates think I'm satanist because they saw me drawing a pentagram... <_< And I learnt that I can shout with them but they won't hear what I say... >.<

Woah, sorry if i offended you. It's a quote from the Monty Python interview we where talking about. Loads of my family members are devout catholics, so i wouldn't bash a religion and mean it.
