Ramuthra vs a Golem

Yeah, I don't see how that works.

You too!?! None of you have ever met me, and you're assuming I can't fight!? :P

For what it's worth, I've never been in a real physical fight before in my life. Other than with siblings and once in Grade 6, but that last one only lasted about 5 seconds.

Y'know, one day I will gather up a bunch of questions from some of these threads and ask Stroud. Today is not that day, but rest assured this will be one of them.

No, you got it wrong. I was commenting on this-
wrote:No. For reasons already stated.

Why do you all think I go down so easily in a fight!?
That seemed like a verbal duel.

Either way... a golem does have the advantage of being able to get through the magical protections that kept Ramuthra hostage.

ramurtha would win
I guess Ramuthra would win because its appearance disrupts the seven planes and it kinda created a vortex when it appeared in the pentacle, which, I think the Golem (or its manuscript or eye) would have been sucked in. And wouldn't the magician's connection to the Golem be severed when it appeared anyways?

Ramuthra would win easily but I don't think it would be because he disrupts the elements. Ramuthra seemed intelligent for the fact that when he was summoned, he knew he wouldn't stand a chance against the Amulet of Samarkand. He could just grab something and basically club it to death or something. Plus I am pretty sure that Stroud said that they have so much power that the magic absorption power that the Golem wouldn't be good enough to drain all it's essence.

I think ramuthra will easily beat the golem by change the golem's element to something that can attacked by his magic

I think Jonathan Stroud said Ramuthra would be beat the Golem but not through changing it's elemental state. I think the Golem would be immune from it.

I think Ramuthra will win. In the series even humans got sucked up in the vortex created by Ramuthra's arrival. One doesn't have to be magical to be sucked in that void. The Golem is magical, but magic is distorted when Ramuthra arrives, and the Golem has no chance. Magic operates the Golem, if magic doesn't work, then all is lost. For the Golem, at least.

Agree with calliope05 here. And besides, if that doesn't work, Ramuthra can pretty much destroy the world anyway, killing the golem's master in the process. :P
I shall spread your vile essence across this hall like...um, like margarine. A very thick layer of it...
