agree. ptolemy was unique than queezle. ptolemy treated bartimaeus as an equal evethough he is a human and bartimaeus was a demon. :D

Well, comparing Ptolemy to Queezles a bit unfair, but I think I agree with you.

I thought it was weird that Bartimaeus didn't care about her death also. She was basically the only person (besides Ptolemy, and maybe Kitty) who he seemed to like. It just makes him seem like more of a heartless... well... demon. Which he is, basically.

I think they just have to get used to friends dying around them.

And... he did care, a little. He was pretty angry, once he faced the fact that it was unlikely he'd see her again.
