she shot the agreed symbol into the air. bartimaeus tried to get to her in time but her screen was cut short and she was never seen again.
I retracted my wing briefly, held the boy so he had a quick view of the square.
"Take a look," I said. "Which house do you think has the thinnest walls?"

There are already quite a few theories of Queezle's dramatic escape(even though I don't think Dansariki needs a reason for his belief of Queezle's continued existence)....I was looking at the old posts and I came across this one.
Of course it's not particularily plausible.....but it's fun... :P

One can't be really sure about Queezle, my heart tells me she is dead, but my brain can think of a 100 reasons on how she could have escaped. Escaping from a Golem would'nt be all that difficult if you consider all of Bart's narrow squeaks. Best to ask JS I think, that is if someone has'nt already asked him.
