Yeah my idea was for an epic of Bartimaeus' life, with litlte side stories and footnotes on the people and spirits he meets.
Like why Faquarl of Sparta got that specific title and what exactly he did at Troy.
Well, not exactly, since it'd be Bart and others reiterating it, but you get what I mean.

Maybe a small prequel with separate chapters of Bartimaeus, Faquarl and maybe Jabor, just like we have Kitty, Nathaniel, and Barty chapters in the series.

I'll stick around for a few dozen days and see if I am struck with any flash of knowledge.

Aside from how screwed the human race is, and the depths of insanity and/or stupidty attainable by aforementioned species, you won't get much.
Lawls.

Well, the human race created Wikipedia and Google, so it has to be at least marginally un-screwed.

Once we nuke ourselves into oblivion, the sum total of human knowledge will be easily accessible to the aliens who find the remains of our civilisation..

We are not going to nuke ourselves to death. In attempting to save a world, we are going to create a freak gene of virus that will feed on the human race.

The virus will later decompose into single celled organisms. These, in turn, will become a human-like species in another few billion years, and the cycle repeats itself.

Wrong again. Solanum outbreaks worldwide will destroy us all.

Also, Dansariki needs to suffer for forgetting Stroud's name.

The only creature that can break the cycle is the cockroach, because nothing can destroy a cockroach. They invariably rule the world.

And a shoe... and radiation...
Fruit flies do better against radiation than cockroaches.
Epic reference Apollo.
And I didn't forget it, I just had a senior moment.
As a sophmore....
Oh well.

And, I think it should be noted that there's a hole in Honorius' scenario: Viruses don't decompose into single celled organisms - they are single cells organisms in their own right (if you believe they constitute life, that is). The Rotting bodies would be devoured by bacteria, also single celled, and broken down into nutrients for the plants. And animals, if the virus only kills us those similar to us, á la The Stand.
Ah Captain Trips, real yous make you seem weak...

Whether they're living things is more debatable, but they're certainly not cells.
