I'd hit it. Just saying.

Think it was pre-collapse? Or one of Putin's first orders or business?

Ya man.

To be honest, they lived for quite a few years in the US... and were not found in high positions of power. So they weren't quite a serious threat. Just a shock to have such people as spies...

And posing as Canadians too. It's quite a feat to have blended in so well in America.
Isn't it quite easy to blend in US? I always felt so.

Not pre-collapse, because Anna Chapman came to US from Moscow in only 2010.

You obviously haven't been to the Western World.

But comparing it to the traditional cultures further east, yes, it is easier. But not easy.

And for the spies case, it's simply astounding how well they fit in. No one expected them to be Russian spies.

Because it's not the Cold War any more and people aren't expecting everyone and their dog to be a FILTHY COMMIE.

Oh, the way people are reacting to Obama's left sometimes, I'm reminded. But, whatevs.

Ten years living anywhere would allow most anyone to blend in. Being America, different isn't as noticeable, since all he racism and prejudice is largely to Medican- or Arabian- looking people. Throw a turban on and suddenly random screenings happen fairly predictably. Gladstone's right.

True for all points.

Well, I've got loads of relatives and family friends in US and they have no problems of blending in there. I based it on that. Though yes, the fact that many Indians live in US does help.

Gah, where isn't there racism? In India, quite a few Africans have complained of racism by the local population due to their colour. And Indians are brown.

Yeah, it happens. Some idiots on the road call them "kala" (black) when they pass by. And some people seem suspicious of them [all that 'Africans-(esp. Nigerians)-are-involved-in-drug-cartel' nonsense].

It's hardly just anyone; it's NATO allies/friendly countries only.

The BBC has a nice video about them: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-10648250

I have to say, the virtual glass cockpit is quite possibly the coolest thing ever.

I predict that the first use of these planes will be at the Toronto Exhibition Air Show, 'cos that's how we roll.

r.i.p F-18s, i'll miss you...
They should have bought them for exposition on Canada Day

North Korea warns of war

Hmm.

Even if NK does survive being owned by the weaponry of NATO, where do their countries, such as the US, get their active soldiers? Most if not all are in Iraq and Afghanistan.

North Korea warns of war every other day, I wouldn't worry about it yet. They know as well as we do that they'll get flattened if they start anything, but they also know that we're not going to start anything because of their artillery pieces lined up to flatten Seoul the instant we do.

The Navy version of the F-35 is going to be alongside the F-18E/F Super Hornet, it ain't dead yet.

Assuming the damned thing gets off the ground. I was in sixth grade, almost six years ago (starting senior year this go 'round), and I was told it'd be in service in numbers within four years. Take out two years for the PR Team being ahead of the actual engineering, and they're still late.

I miss the F-15. The Strike Eagle's still fly, but those'll be gone soon.
