Why?

Don't take a single poll of anything too seriously. As for why, though, he promised big changes and for the most part they haven't happened. Healthcare has been watered down and bogged down, the increased government transparency hasn't happened, things like that.

I thought people would blame the Republicans for the health care. They (and their supporters) are the ones who are protesting. Obama was forced to water it down.
I don't know anything about making government more transparent. I think, in the end, it is just the performance of the economy that matters most. It it improves, his ratings might.

The problem is, the Democrats had a significant enough majority that they should have been able to force the healthcare bill through regardless of Republican opposition, but instead they've tried to play nice and compromise, and the result is a bill that doesn't do what it was supposed to.
There's a *lot* more to approval than how well the economy is working. If that was the case, China would be widely revered as one of the best governed nations in the world!

Yeah, but if the economy gets better Americans will still say it's because of Obama, and vice versa.

I got this mail. The video is truly great. I am copy-pasting it.

A musician named Dave Carroll recently had difficulty with United Airlines. United apparently damaged his treasured Taylor guitar during a flight. Dave spent over 9 months trying to get United to pay for damages caused by baggage handlers to his custom Taylor guitar. During his final exchange with the United Customer Relations Manager, he stated that he was left with no choice other than to create a music video for youtube exposing their lack of cooperation. The Manager responded : "Good luck with that one, pal".
So he posted a retaliatory video on youtube. The video has since received over 7.3 million hits. United Airlines contacted the musician and attempted settlement in exchange for pulling the video. Naturally his response was: "Good luck with that one, pal".
Taylor Guitars sent the musician 2 new custom guitars in appreciation for the product recognition from the video that has lead to a sharp increase in orders.

While it is important to protect animals and treat them better, having lawyers dedicated for them is too much. And they would be paid from the public taxes.
