Who're you voting for?
For a candidate you wouldn't have heard of.
I voted! Felt great pressing the button in the EVM & hearing the beep. It was nice realizing my voice would count too. :D
So? I'm nosy. :D

I just love it when they tally up all the votes, and the numbers are something like 243,592,534. Then yoy get the feeling that if you haven't voted, then it would've been a mere 243,592,533.

Nice.
I couldn't give a rat's ass about the flu.
I know some friends of friends here in Nevada who may have it, but I don't care.
My body kills what doesn't belong, period.
And this isn't the Spanish Flu - this hasn't shown any evidence of Cytokine storms, which killed most the victims of the 1918-'19 pandemic.

If your body can kill HIV, you just solved a decades old mystery.

There's at least one known mutation that renders you immune to HIV, but it's statistically extremely unlikely that Dansariki has it..

I wouldn't count on it.. electronic voting machines are horrendously unreliable. There have been massive arguments about them across the world and clear demonstrations of insecurities and failures. Ireland recently got rid of its entire set of electronic voting machines because of the problems with them.
Hey, they aren't unreliable! They were tested a lot before being brought out. What sort of problems are you talking about anyway?

Fuzzylobster-There are different candidates for different constituencies, so if I tell you who I voted for, you would come to know which constituency I am from :D. Not that I don't trust y'all. :P

Just how confident in them are you?

(That's four links covering the "thorough testing" and the general problems with them as concisely as I could manage; the third link links to a long US Government Accountability Office report on their failures if you're interested in all the gory details..)

For a change, I researched. Your links are good Sent, but you have spoken about American EVM's (typically- *shakes head*). There is a whole lot of difference between the Indian & American EVM's(the reason American EVM's are considered unreliable is because of it's excessive use of technology-touch screens & stuff). The American one's are damn complicated & advanced & hence not that reliable. The Indian one's are simple & tamper-proof. Click the below links.

Well, I sit corrected. I wasn't aware the Indian government had created their own. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm fully confident they're tamper proof, but they're certainly a lot better than the EVMs the rest of the world uses.

Well, when I was researching I came across a report by an engineer who said the memory of the EVM could be wiped out by exposing it to some substances. The Election Commission took it seriously & carried out many tests & all political parties were consulted(or something like that). I think the EC even solved that problem. Otherwise there was no complaint whatsoever about it's reliability.

Hmm. Shows how true your statement may be.
