I went to the House of Commons and House of Lords yesterday. I was shocked that our entire country is run from a room the size of a tennis court! :sentynel:

There were also two huge paintings of Nelsons death and the battle of waterloo. These paintings are going to cost 5 million a piece just to clean! Out of Tax payers money

Who else thinks that is rather ridiculous.

So we should let them die of underfunding? The nation's history is valuable - is it right to let, for example, St Paul's crumble away because people can't be bothered to voluntarily donate to repairing it?



And yes, Houses of Lords and Commons marks it down as the UK in a pretty glaring way...

I don't really mind as where the money goes as long as it is not flushed down the toilet, but I really really hate political correctness, "everyone's racist!", "Ban all religious emblems". We are a Christian country, yes we should be accepting to other races and religions, but the Christians should also be treated just as well as the ethnic minorities and not have the media and government take preference over the minorities because they are a minority.

That will never change, that is everywhere.

The War in Iraq is ridiculous. Stupid Bush and Blair...

Why does everyone hate Bush so much... Hew is only doing what he feels is best for the country. I support him. No one can say what would have been if Bush didn't make the decisions he had. The whole situation could be worse than it is.... I think he is doing what he thinks is the right thing to do, and people need to accept that he is our president... and most of the nation did elect him... When next election comes he will be out.
