I do not think that the liberals ever planned on dropping the faith-based schools. Although, I may have to check my facts on this one.

I have always wondered why we are mixing education and religion into one. I have nothing against learning about other religions, but I do wonder why we have set up schools that base their entire teachings around religion. Is that not what the church is for?
I'm just commenting on the basic principle, not every faith-based school. Have you seen what happens in an Orphodox Jewish school?
