They are really very awesome.

Umm . . . sorry, I just found a thread on that exact topic. Never mind. But, yes, I liked them too.

It was a good concept that was handled pretty well, but began to decline deeper into the series. The last one is awful.

Yeah right... :P

It'll probably take me a month to get round to reading it even when it does arrive....so i suppose there's not much point moaning...

It's just kind of annoying though that if I want to read a book i have to buy it instead of like borrowing it from a library.... ^o)

A 7th Artemis Fowl? Great! I really enjoyed the first 5 & I'm hoping to buy the 6th soon. But from what Apollo said about it, I don't feel over-enthusiastic.
Waiting to read Twilight too......
Nero, read Brisingr. It's way better than the other 2.

Brisingr was less awful than the other two.. He's learning, slowly. Maybe ten books down the line he'll actually be readable. Or, more likely, completely out of ideas (even other people's).

In that case, Paolini needs to leave the literature world and come back 10 years later when he's actually gained more experience.

Umm . . . The one I was talking about is number 6, the Time Paradox. Which is relatively new where I live. I finished reading the Lost Colony ages ago, and visited a book shop a couple of days ago (cause of my christmas book voucher) and saw it there.

I thought the Time Paradox was to be the last?

Good, I guess.
Wonder if it'll make it to movie.
They had one planned, but the actor got too old :P

Yeah . . . no. Wouldn't work as a movie, you wouldn't be able to find a good enough child actor who fits the voice and look of Artemis.

But the Time Paradox released ages ago!
Anyway, I read in Colfer's website that he has already planned for another book.
A movie will be great, but I doubt it would be made.

Oh, so there is gonna be another one.
Nah, they'll make a movie.
I've seen sufficiently creepy kids that could pull it off.
I probably could have, when I was 11.
Two bad I'm fifteen :P

The problem is not finding Artemis but Butler...
