I vaguely remember a talking chimpanzee...

I finally saw a Star Wars movie. Revenge of the Sith... and all I can say is why? What's so great about the darn franchise? The dialouge was $hit, the plot mediocre and the weird way of switching scenes annoyed me. Comeon, we have Smash cuts, Fade outs and the other good stuff and Lucas chooses that?

There is no such thing as the Star Wars prequels. There are only three Star Wars films.
And while we're at it, only one Matrix film.

Actually, I think they have aged well.

Watch them.

It was made in the seventies, so you can't be too harsh.

The originals are good.
Made in the late 70s and early 80s, actually.

If I watch them, it will be without the sense of Nostaliga you guys have. Those movies are the cliche makers of the century, ya'know.

Well, LOTR is the reason we have so many Eragons in the world.

So don't judge them with that.

And I saw Definitely, Maybe last night. It wasn't bad for what you, Post, would consider a cliched chick flick.

Has anyone watched Primer?

I heard it was such a complicated, confusing movie that when it was in theaters, they let you stay for the next show also, 'cos you had to watch it twice to get it.
