*rolls eyes at everyone*

Books are books and movies are movies. They don't need to be exact copies of each other, nor should they be. Quit 'cher whining. And since I don't think anyone agrees with me, I'll shut up about it now.

Wait, one more thing. On the subject of memories; they do have two Deathly Hallows movies to work with, maybe they're waiting for that.

On the Nathaniel/Harry (yes I am well aware of how that sounds :P ): After the Underwood house went all y'know, kablooey.

Also, Underwood and his suspenders = WIN.

A Fish Called Wanda is hilarious.
Way to break the awkward silence.

(seriously, what did I do!?! :P )

Saw the first twenty minutes or so once, have yet to finish it.

Underwood's suspenders surely did it.
I'd like to re-watch the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy again. I dunno what you think about it, but I think it's awesome.
"I've got a jar of dirt, I've got a jar of dirt, I've got a jar of dirt, and guess what is inside it". I'm always singing it at school, and it annoys my friends sooooo much. I love it. The jar of dirt is my second fav character, after Jack Sparrow.
"When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True story".
The pirate! Johnny Depp. Oh yeah, he is wonderful!

Avatar was boring.

Has anyone seen Alice in Wonderland yet?

No. Though I'm usually a Tim Burton fan, I'm not in a hurry to see it; it doesn't look all that great. But my mom really wants us to go, so I'll probably see it in a week or two.

For all I know some of the award winners have already been announced (not watching atm), but these are my predictions:

Best Picture: Either the Hurt Locker or Up in the Air, most likely. I'd like District 9 to win, but it's unlikely. As long as it's not Avatar.

Best Director: Kathryn Bigelow, The Hurt Locker.

Actor and Actress: Jeff Bridges, Sandra Bullock

Best Supporting: Christoph Waltz and Mo'Nique, which are pretty much decided already from what I've heard.

Screenplays: No idea.

Best Animated: It wasn't my favourite, but since it's a more critic-type movie (plus y'know, Pixar) and doesn't have a hope in hell of winning Best Picture, Up.

...and I'm on 2/3 correct guesses. Got Up wrong. (Before anyone shouts at me, my guesses were made by the random() function, so I'm impressed I'm doing so well.)

OH SNAP.

I'm awesome.

Edit: Annnnd much more important than the Oscars, the 2010 Razzies. Upset that New Moon didn't win anything, at least Transformers had halfway deccent effects.

Also, there's been speculation that The Hobbit will be in 3-D. Thoughts?

No love for Inglorious Basterds?

Waltz is awesome in Basterds.

So what was your favourite animated? Up was amazing.
Well, I was basing more on what was likely to happen, not which movies I likely best. I've only seen half the movies that were nominated for most of the awards (which is pretty good, considering the sort of movies that usually get nominated). But though I liked Basterds, some parts of the movie were really dragged out. Waltz was awesome.

I liked Coraline and the Princess and the Frog better, but Up is probably a better movie movie-wise if that makes any sense. I liked it but it's not a movie I'll watch a lot. Be nice if it could've won Best Picture, what with animation still being looked at as solely "for kids", but actors don't like animated movies because they're less important to the overall production.

Sadface! How can Twatlight not win one? The werewolves were animated into a bunch of fluff balls, and the acting... Oh the acting.
D'you think Kitty likes Hello Kitty?
Bella can't act that well. And it should be given an award for "Wrong actors in wrong place" or something because few looked like the way they were supposed to.

Anyone else looking forward to Clash of the Titans?? Being a fan of the God of War games, it looks like the closest we're gonna get to a God of War movie. Opens April 1st over here, and has our boy Sam Worthington as the starring role (Perseus). I don't mind him, but I hope his accent is better in this movie than it was in Avatar and T4. Didn't have any trouble guessing that he was an Aussie XD. Also has Liam Neeson as Zeus.
When I set out from the boy's attic window, my head was so full of competing plans and complex strategems that I didn't look where I was going and flew straight into a chimney.

Something symbolic in that. It's what fake freedom does for you.
Well, there was another movie about all the Greek gods- Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.

Which looks vaguely interesting.
Between Avatar and Alice, more IMAX theaters are needed, Avatar could show on them for another couple months' worth before they switched. Cameron talked about a possible Fall re-release. And, Titanic 3D in 2012. Cool anniversary.
