40 days of night

I saw it on Saturday with some friends , at a sleep over ... It wasn't great but it's a good movie to watch with your friends ... :P

Ugh, I watched it with one of my friends, who jumps seemingly every ten seconds at movies like those (yet watches them much more often than I do).

I had a problem with the vampires in that movie. Aren't vampires supposed to be neat and clean, not covered in blood (despite their... *ahem* ...habit)?

I think it depends on the director... :P

Another good one ( although slightly older ) to watch with company is ''Hide and Seek'' , and ''The Blair Witch Project'' ... I've seen both of them at sleep overs and they were pretty good.... :D

The Silence of the Lambs is a good psycho thriller, I heard Hannibal Rising was sufficiently alright, but never saw it.

We're probably going to watch ....Well there several we haven't decided yet ... But It's between the Grudge 2 , The Strangers , The Exorcist or Hide And Seek.... :blink:

If memory serves, Johnny Depp and Helene Bonham Carter won Oscars for it.

It was horrible...!!!!I really didn't like that film....It was boring , disgusting and totally freaky... :blink: ....

And from what I remember I didn't like the end either (aren't Helena Bonham Carter AND Johnny Depp killed..??)....

Nah. He was nominated, but the only thing the film won (and it wasn't nominated for much either) was Art Direction.

Today on the announcements they showed 31 pics from Hallowe'en movies in 60 seconds for a contest. We got 23, but we lost. I was suprised at how many I recognized (though really, characters like Leatherface and Freddy Kreuger are easy to recognize even if you haven't seen the movie), and I was kind of mad that I was the only one who recognized The Birds.
