I wonder if all mythological entities in our world were just spirits in their world. Even (hopefully not offending anyone here) Allah/God/Zeus/Odin/Osiris are probably higher spirits in the Bartiworld. Jesus could walk on water because a djinni was carrying him. :D

Yeah, and there's a reference to Jabor serving at the temple of Anubis. That's what prompted this thought, actually. But was Anubis a demon or some sort of presence whom demons like Jabor serve? There are references, especially in PG, to the (higher) priests of Egypt being magicians.
