Jonathan Stroud confirmed in the questions that any magic that appears to be cast by a magician is using a concealed or bound spirit.

Aye, the inferno was probably some imp or sort.

Didn't Stroud say that ALL magic was coutesy of some djinni or another? That means that every time a magician seemeing performs magic on his or her own, there was actually a demon concealed. I'm pretty sure that punishing djinn is the only magic a magician CAN do, if that even techinically counts as magic.

I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

That was seven months ago. Since then the author has confirmed that some sort of hidden spirit or magical item must have been used.

What the hell does that mean?

I see how that is logical, but the way it is written makes me think otherwise.

No matter what the author says.

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

Except on shipping, the author's word is law.

He can't stop shipping, he can just tell us which one is actually "right". ;)

Because shippers are rabid.

Ok thanks guys. God! I need a canon vs. Fanon dictionary!!!

Canons at the top, of course.

Shipping is completely natural. In fact, there's not enough shipping in the BT community. Where are the fabled shipping wars, debates and discussions o_o?
