Never read the books :no: Though from what i've heard, they were really well written.

The films were fantastic IMO, the scenery was amazing, my favourite scene is when they light the beacons in ROTK, great scene.


I've got the extended edition :P

I liked the first movie the most, it was the closest to the book. But the battle scenes in the others were awesome, and the movies in general. Gimli was perfect, except he says some things which are not accurate. In the TT, Gimli says Dwarves are natural sprinters, and they can't do long distance, when it actually is the opposite. And Howard Shore's music is PERFECT. And I'd better shut up now or I'll continue ranting on everything LOTR related.
