I'm sure Nat knows how to use the library. And he could ask someone else like the PM. Devreaux loves him
but he often doubts him like all other magicians
I am Bartimaeus, Sakhr al-Jinni!! I am N'gorso the Mighty, and the SERPENT OF SILVER PLUMES!! I have spoken with Solomon, and rebuilt the walls of Uruk, Karnak and Prague!!

Devreaux trusts Nat and Jane a lot more that the others. He would probably help Nat as a favor and then Nat would probably have to help him back.
to trustr nat he want something in return to prove his worthyness

I think saving his life once is good enough for that. Not to mention he recovered the amulet, the staff, and did various other tough jobs.

Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

yes but before all those tasks deveraux wanted to lock him up, he was a renagade magician

Devereaux will trust Nat when Nat's popular. He can't distrust Nat because then everyone else will turn on him.
least favorite character= Devereaux and probably Jane Farrar

I actually liked the PM ok.

Until he got senile.

But he had to have a few brains to become the PM.

I hated that he made Nat waste time to go to the dumb plays and parties. It's like he cared more about himself than the country. Although that seems to be in the magician code of conduct.

Well, yes and no. Though most magicians are in for themselves, most ministers were ticked off about the parties. They wanted to get something done. Like Whitwell.

I don't think Pinn liked it either. Wasn't he complaining about it, and his costume?

I don't blame him. Although if it was a masked ball, that would be very Romeo and Juliet. *gets J/J ideas fo movie*

I've already told you that I'm not letting you near that script.

And I already told you, Wild horses couldn't keep me away. Anyway, when the movie comes out, there'll be some J/J clips, and you'll be able to hear my cheering in Mexico.
