hey it may be a bit trashy - and totally not like the real world trust me my dad's in the practice - but it sucks you in.
Edit: Sorry, sorry back on topic. What do you think Kitty might have been like when she was younger? We only got a very limited view from the books.

Nathaniel anyday beats Kitty, whom I used to adore a lot in the 2nd book. Bart & NAT- close. But I still stick to Nat. He's the best. His change & sacrifice was the greatest, best, the most shocking & the most touching.

Kitty's history seemed a bit underdeveloped to me.
And I agree on what Athena says about GA.

I like Barti and Kitty just as much as each other. They have a similar attitude. I like it.

Sorry to say this, but I never really liked Kitty. I started to like her a bit when Nathaniel started to care for her. But I was always afraid that Bartimaeus would like her better than Nathaniel.
I wanted them to be a team. Just the two of them.
She just came and made a trio of it all. I didn´t like that.
It would have been better if she had died and not Nathaniel. He didn´t deserve it.
By the end of book three, before Nathaniel died, I started to picture them getting married and have Bartimaeus as a friend. But of course that didn´t come true.
