From 3:45 to 4:45 on Sunday October 15th at Cheltenham College Junior School, Jonathan Stroud, Stuart Hill and Oisin McGann will be having a "magical discussion on fantasy worlds".
I assume he'll also be signing books. If not we'll just have to mug him as he's leaving.

Me neither *sob* Or I'd stalk him. And an autograph.
Sure, Canada has British roots, but they still are seperated by an ocean...
And how come my favourite fantasy authors never come to Canada??? :(

I know, but they go to the US sometimes.
Yeah. Terry Brooks is having a tour of the States promoting his new book, Armageddon's Children, and he is signing whole collections. (He's written 20 or so Shannara, etc. books, so those with more than 7 books are asked to got to the end of the line.)

We get nothing here in Utah. Absolutely nothing! I don't remember that last time ANY famous writer came here!

Sadly, neither do I. Well, maybe someday! :D

Yes, it's there.

Apo, I have to laugh, since E3's been as good as cancelled.

Gladstone, surely you can spare a few quid for the train tickets to Cheltenham?

Quid? What's that? I've heard it in a ton of places.

Its slang for GBP (£)

In response to Sentynel, apparently not.

Euston to Cheltenham is apparently a 3 hour journey costing £47.

And I am assuming its:
Queens Road
Cheltenham
Gloucestershire
GL51 8NP

There might be other stations in the area but I am not familiar with them. And a train might be able to be picked up at somewhere else like Victoria, but I doubt the price would differ.

I will actually spend a bit longer working it out, as I don't quite trust National Rail website.

Yes.

You should totally put it on Youtube.

From Euston to Cheltenham Spa on October 15th, leaving Euston at 11:54, arriving in Cheltenham at 14:47, and then leaving Cheltenham at 19:23 and getting to Euston at 22:12, you're looking at two single tickets at £12 each. Pay a bit more and there's a little more flexibility in the timings. Two changes each way.
Including the ticket for the talk, that totals £30.
