My school is huge. So huge, that a guy who's worked there ten years still gets lost. It has three levels, a basement, and portables. Somehow I managed to get classes in every one of these places this semester. My back and feet are killing me! But, it's pretty much the best school on earth, so I'm not complaining ;)

I took Computer Class this year as well, and my teacher's like 60 and I don't understand anything he says, because he mumbles. He also talks way too much about how good Firefox is and not enough about the lesson.

But on the plus side you get to sneak on the internet when he's not looking. ;)

Fun.

I think that you would have to be a tissuebox in order to get lost in my school.
My school is Lisgar Collegiate Institute, rated one of the best high skools in Canada, and it has a North building and a South building, each with 5 floors, (the fifth is storage, it reportedly has two ghosts) plus 2 portables. I was late because:
a. I arrived late anyway. :D
b. I thought it was day 1, though it was day 2, and I went to French in a portable.
c. It was not my class, so I went to the South building because I thought I had gym.
d. Couldn't find the gym, so finally pulled my timetable out and noticed it was day 2 and I had Math.
e. Exaggerated how late I was on this forum! ;)

At my old middle skool, my computer teacher was so cool, he used Firefox, taught us Flash, and coached the robotics team. ( I was on it :) ) He also let us do extra projects for extra marks using Photoshop. And at the end of the year, he told us to play Typer Shark and Tetris in class. It was awesome. I got so addicted to Tetris. :D

Oh, and this year my locker is missing the bottom.

I always get the portables in the winter, it's a curse I think. And the teacher is always late.

I got the awesomest teacher ever for English. I like all my teachers.

Even though art stinks.

But...art....is wonderful.

Art's tedious. I agree with Ianna. Even though I don't have to take it in school. *yay*

@ Luciene: What's your teacher's name?

@ rubberchickenben: I'm a tetris addict too! Highest score?

@ Ianna and Mwamba: Art is so cool IMO, but the way the schools teach it is bull****! God forbid we should be able to be creative... Except at my new school, but that's because it rocks.

Wow, I never thought I'd ever say anything good about school. Wow, I'm shocked. *Faints* I need to be revived, someone pour water over my head please.

Thanks!

I've already got the librarian mad at me. I was trying to renew a book (It's out of print, so mom can't get it.) and she said I needed my temporary student i.d. card. That is so stupid. It's TEMPORARY i.e. you write your name and student number on it and the LIBRARIANS are the one's typing the number into the system. And there's no picture yet obviously, so there's no big thing about "proving it's you." I told her it was an anal rule and she told me to "take it up with the head librarian." So my friends laughed at me the rest of the day.

We just have to give numbers at our high school.

I can honestly say I've never used my library card. Too much red tape involved.

It's still tedious actually.

Anyone want to loan me forty cents?

I would, but getting the money to you would cost about ten times that by the cheapest method.
