Yeah, once, but he comes back and kills him doesn't he? All the other encounters result in Faquarl looking stupid.
When I set out from the boy's attic window, my head was so full of competing plans and complex strategems that I didn't look where I was going and flew straight into a chimney.

Not really.
He survives one of Jabor's spirited Detonations in the beginning, and is still running after Bartimaeus ( by then a Peregrine Falcon) with Jabor in time to get hit by a truck.
He easily keeps up with Bartimaeus out of the London Tower, and still (apparently easily) tracks him to Nat's house.
He's absent in GE, but in PG dispatches all of Mandrake's minions and (a weakened) Bartimaeus, all again with relative ease.

I'm still going for Faquarl.
I like Bartimaeus, but I'm a practical guy.

Umm . . . no. I said, apart from that one time when Bartimaeus was weak in PG, Faquarl always ends up looking stupid. Hit by Jabor's own detonation (doesn't matter that he survived it), covered in petrol, set on fire etc. He doesn't actually track Bart to Nat's house, a search sphere does that.

?
Ok.
Still you're missing my point.
The topic is whether Bartimaeus is stronger than Faquarl or not.
Doesn't matter if he ends up looking 'stupid', he's still strong.
Look at Jabor.

Which brings me back nicely to my original comment . . .

Because I didn't want to type out my original point again.

Well, if you go topic-wise, the answer is Faquarl. He is stronger than Bart (and most people have concurred on this point).

Yes, except to those who still believe Bart is stronger than Faquarl. Is there anyone like that?
I didn't like the black ribbon you presented Apollo. Make it red or green the next time around.

Black Ribbons rule.
And Bart's weaker.
Whether they'd win in a fight is for another topic, but Faquarl is stronger.

Yes, the topic is "Is Faquarl stronger than Bartimaeus?". I'd already come to the same conclusion two pages ago. Please don't make me quote myself again.

Don't mind Dansariki. He easily forgets things, or doesn't bother reading the whole information. And makes too many redundant posts.

So

Oh yeah, like that post added a whole lot to the effing topic.

To Umbreo -
I justify repeated ending-of-topic posts because inevitably, the topic keeps going and some things, like what you and I say, need reminding.

BARTIMAEUS IS NOT AS STRONGER AS FAQUARL, BUT IS WITTIER AND FUNNIER.

There, read that before posting. It's what's been said for pages on end. It sould have been clarified enough already.

Mmm, yes, I see what you mean. I think we've cleared up this question finally. Okay, no more topic. The End. Bye-bye, have a nice day. Why are you still here?

It was intended to keep away any MORE posts on this now obsolete thread. But now I seem to be contradicting myself by posting this explanation. I'll stop now.
