When they get off the plane at the end and Cobb gets his passport checked, the guy says "Welcome Home" and stamps a page of his passport... He doesn't stamp it with a "Welcome to LA" thing or whatever it should be - he stamps it with the symbol Cobb drew on a napkin at the beginning when he was trying to explain to that girl about perception and creation in dreams. You know the one I mean, right? Two arrows, one line.
I haven't decided either way, so... Enjoy!
I'm... not... convinced... yet. Now I really need to go see it again.

I thought it was odd Fisher wouldn't recognize Saito, a supposed rival. I chocked it up to just not noticing, his father had just died, after all.

I didn't notice that. Hope that doesn't mean it is a dream.
And Datsyuk, he just didn't notice.

Nice. 4Chan regularly has threads for verticals. I saved tons, but they're on the girlfriend's computer :(

AWESOME.

I'm pretty sure the top was about to fall, and therefore it was real. This said, I didn't notice the symbol in the passport - it just looked like a visa stamp to my brief glance. Now I want to see it again. Argh.

Other thoughts: music wasn't great, but otherwise the sound was brilliantly done.
Also, the scene with the gravity in the corridor rotating was quite possibly the best shot I have ever seen in a film. It was done with a 100ft long rotating corridor set, apparently.

Finally saw it. Luckily it was with my mom, who is both smart and has seen it once before, she helped me through the parts I didn't understand. I thought the bit about not recognizing his rival was odd too. Nice catch who ever caught the bit with the symbol, uh-oh. I'm also conflicted about the dream y/n part. The top did wiggle but it also went for an unusually long time.
I'm planning to kidnap Christopher Nolan and ask him about it. All my friends say it is a dream, but I think it is real. Though their reasons are actually better.

We know that dying in limbo wakes you up, because it's happened before. We also know that earlier parts of the film were not a dream, because we've seen the top fall. Therefore, something would have had to have changed for the end to be a dream, and there's no evidence that this is the case. --> the top was about to fall --> not a dream.

Actually, since they were so deep into Fisher's mind, dying wouldn't have woken them up. One can say that Cobb got lost in limbo when he found Sato (if Sato had woken up after he was shot dead, there would have been no need for Cobb to go and find him) and dreamed everything else up.

Except that the other dreamers had already woken up, thus they were only within their own minds, precisely the same as Cobb and Mal.

Didn't we get the whole movie from Cobb's perspective? So we can't really say the other dreamers woke up. Oh, they very well might have (since they weren't killed), but Cobb could have dreamt of them all having gotten up too.

Them waking up can't have been from Cobb's perspective, because he can't see other layers of the dream. Besides, they'd have woken up when the sedative wore off anyway, even if some of the waking up stages failed. It wouldn't have taken as long for the rest of them as for Cobb to get that far.
