SP, you need a mental check-up.

I believe that it was not a dream. The totem wobbles a little before they cut the scene. It shouldn't wobble in a dream.
Okay, I know that reasoning is completely pathetic and the wobbling was just to leave a doubt in the audience's mind, but I don't want it to be a dream, so there!

I agree with N&B.
hi there

Well, I just watched the movie today and I thought the end was a dream cause on earlier scenes, the top falls in like 5 seconds. In the last scene, he spins it, sees his kids, goes to meet them, the scene cuts to the table, and the top is still spinning for like 10 more seconds.
Overall, I really liked the movie. Not as "The Best Movie of the Year" as some people said but it was pretty good. The only thing that ruined it for me was that I had to keep explaining my girlfriend what was happening. (She eventually ended up falling asleep). :o

Firstly, EPICALLY AWESOME AVATAR DAMONENKOPF.

Also... good reasons for why you think the end is what you think it is. Now I have to rethink it.
And, 'tis a shame 'bout your girlfriend. Watched it with mine and we both got it, the only words passed were "Holy Sh!t" a couple of times.

The movie was excellent and very Christopher Nolan, I've seen every one of his films except Momento (Bad one to miss, I know), and the last bit of Insomnia. Was nice to see DiCaprio in a real, and good role as well. Excellent acting, awesome effects, and an awesomer ending.

Yay Inception :D

Haha thanks Dansariki. I've not watched too many movies of Nolan's, besides The Dark Knight, of course. The best part about Inception was how they let the ending hanging. It's much better than a traditional "All is well". :P

I agree with this. An additional justification: This sort of cliche just kind of annoys me (make up your mind, filmmakers!).

But seriously, awesome movie.

^LOL at their faces as well! xD

I thought it was amazing the first time, but the second time highlighted just how well thought out the entire plot was :D

After I had just seen the movie, I felt like seeing it again. But then, after my friends and I discussed it and I told my sister the whole story (from start to end. She wanted me too. I tried discouraging her first, obviously), I lost the interest of watching it over again. But I guess I would like to see the first 10-20 minutes again. That part was slightly difficult to understand. But it made better sense after I saw the full movie.

I completely agree with Dansariki... inception was pretty awesome... the spec.effects are what make or break a movie... they did a great job... it was both surreal and believable all in one.

I didn't find it confusing at all... i guess i was prepared tho. everyone who saw it before me said you have to pay attention or you get lost... you can't over think it... you kinda just have to observe and then put the pieces together.

I honestly don't understand what's confusing about it. I've seen infopics on the various levels. I'm confused on the confusion.

Er.

Yusuf (Rainy city) -> Arthur (Sexy Hotel) -> Eames' (as Browning, guess that could confuse [Sexy Snow Fotress]) -> Cobb's Limboland.
So, for those who read the spoiler, is Eames' thing what caught you up?

No, Eames part was simple to understand.
It is just the first 10-15 minutes. Perhaps, I would have understood that part better if I knew I had to concentrate and watch it.

Hey guys. Went to see Inception yesterday (or was it the day before?) and I noticed something unusual which I don't think has been mentioned yet... Feel free to flame me for idiocy if it has.
[+] Spoiler
When they get off the plane at the end and Cobb gets his passport checked, the guy says "Welcome Home" and stamps a page of his passport... He doesn't stamp it with a "Welcome to LA" thing or whatever it should be - he stamps it with the symbol Cobb drew on a napkin at the beginning when he was trying to explain to that girl about perception and creation in dreams. You know the one I mean, right? Two arrows, one line.
I haven't decided either way, so... Enjoy!
