Topics are and always have been allowed to drift off their original topic as long as they stay broadly within the scope of the forum they're in. Many of the threads in the on topic forums aren't talking about what they started of as any more, but it's not a problem if they're still discussing stuff about the books or otherwise relevant things. Same goes for here - threads are allowed to drift off their original topics, just not devolve into mindless spam. That's what the spamzone is for.Nero wrote:When was that a rule of thumb?
