When I pronounce it, the "P" isn't even audible, but I feel weird thinking it or thinking I'm pronouncing it "Tolemy".

Yes indeed. The correct pronunciation is "Tolemy". Lots of silent Ps in English attempts at writing Egyptian words.

Like Pteradactyl. BTW, in geo class, my teacher put some quote by someone called Ptolemy, who supposedly invented geography, on the board.

There were many Ptolemies in Egyptian history. Like Caesar for Rome.

Uh, yeah. He is one of the only Ptolemy who's life is recorded. Bad Times is Later Egypt.

I think he may be Ptolemy. Barti's Ptolemy seemed like he'd like geography. But then, the Ptolemy in the book died young.

Ptolemy didn't exist, so therefore all efforts to find im have been for nothing.

Yes, Ptolemy didn't exsist.

However, I think his cousin or uncle would be Ptolemy the 9th or 10th.

And His sister will be Cleopatra?

It might be because Barty's Ptolemy was never Pharoah. I pronounce it as Tall-lemee.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Toh-lemee.

That's true, but he might have techincally exsisted if we could look far enough into history.
