I didn't really like the Artemis Fowl one, but I have hopes for this.

Yeah. Picked that one up at a bookstore once and skimmed through it. It looks weird.

It was just... idk. I was expected slightly more realistic, I guess. Domovoi is huge and Artemis isn't exactly buffed out, but the differences weren't quite so stark.

Guys go look at some of Lee Sullivans art http://www.leesullivan.co.uk/ then you should prolly go to "comic book art" Jonathan said he was doing the art. Idk about you but hes not to my tastes. Maybe hes not anime enough lol. Well ill just have to see how Bartimaeus(<3) will turn out i guess...What do you guys think?

Mind you, the art on the website is definitely very American-comic booky, but with the subjects there you're kind of expected to work in that kind of style. Maybe he'll use a different one for Bartimaeus, artists can work in different styles. I didn't really want manga-styled anyway.

Isn't he British? lol. But yeah not straight magna (no anime eyes plz) for me either and Im hoping for another style to. But Jonathan says he really likes how its coming...

I think it's meh. Could be polished up a bit. The part I don't like is Bartimaeus as the gargoyle; doesn't match him. Otherwise it is good.

I'm not saying that should go on the cover but thats my favorite drescription of Nathaniel. Anyone else remember those lines? I dont like nathaniel here, bartis okay, maybe hes better inside the book, but I got excited just seeing a real acutal picture oof the graphic novel ^_^

I suppose Barty could be given a better form, but otherwise I like it.
And some extra information:
It is surely releasing on 2nd November, 2010. It has 144 pages. And most interestingly, I found a copy of a page - http://www.dbgcatalog.com/DI/other/9781 ... Spread.jpg. It is the whole of the first chapter.

Em...that's not what I expected to look like Nathaniel..

He looks like he does in the cover.
Most of the dialogues are the same as they are in the book. Though obviously, heavily edited. And Bart's footnotes seem to be included too.
