Eragon was a good read. Eldest was crap.

Eragon was ... okay.

Eldest? I can spout the most profane curse words in the universe and I wouldn't even come close to describing how bad it is.

Brisingr? The number one reason to commit suicide.

I tremble to even consider comparing the awesome Barty trilogy to the Inheritance Cycle.

Completely agree. I didn't like it because you basically couldn't pronounce anyone's name. I mean, the Lord of the Rings Elvish was easier!

Then again, how could I compare Lord of the Rings to IC? I must be crazy. :P But even crazier to compare Bartimaeus Trilogy to IC.

It was long, it was winded, used up 4 times as more paper and patience thasn necessary, had a cliché 'hero's journey' arc without missing a single step, had a crap ending, even crappier characters, and was only finished by me because because it was a present.
