In the OP, all the spirits are one. Meaning they are all one body. And the other place is like space; never ending.

Clarifying that: There are no places in the Other Place, "No trees or mountains" is part of what Bart says to Ptolemy.
So that's bubkiss.
Sorry.

It seems to me the golem just appears and disappears from nowhere to nowhere. Take the Musuem destruction, even though the magicians were surrounding the Museum outside, the golem just disappeared. How did it do that?

It doesn't randomly disappear. It has a cloak of darkness that allows it to move through darkness unsuspected. And you can't see it on other planes, the first plane is the clearest to see it by.
But that doesn't explain how the golem, even with a cloak of darkness, could escape the collective attentions of the magicians outside of the Museum. You may not see the golem, but certainly you can hear its steps.

Nope. You wouldn't hear them. That's how it was created to be. And magicians rely too much on their slaves and magic spells. And they were too focused with the museum's damage. The nexus could have been broken, but even then the magicians couldn't put two and two together.

Yes.
They trusted the sentry spirits to hold fort.
Can't hold fort 'gainst a golem.
Heh.

Sentynel wrote: Marids are spirits of water, I believe. Afrits are spirits of fire, and djinni of air. Golems are of earth, and therefore are invulnerable to spirit magic.
That said, I wonder if water spirits (Marids) could damage golems?
Isn't Barty fire tho?

Yes...
Why I said "(Marids)"

Bart's Air and Fire, actually.

Hey, wait a sec. Is it all like Sent mentioned (marids-water, afrits-fire, djinni-air) or does it depend from an individual spirit to another?

<@Ximenez> Sentynel: But i have a life? No. Qed.
Like Sent mentioned. Though I suppose I could be mistaken, but that is how I understood it.

Sent is correct, as is Vinr in his assumptions.

But not to be confused: just because a marid is a water spirit, that doesn't mean they can't cast fire attakcs; only that they'd be weaker than the norm, and possibly cause discomfort to the spirit in question.
