Earth Hour tonight at 8:30 guys!

Also, a bunch of my classmates just got back from a trip to England. Apparently the food is terrible. :P

I believe it's some sort of (American) biscuit. I know it goes nicely with tea though.

In my news I apparently placed third in a current events competition. And I guessed on half those questions. Derp?

Fuzzy's classmates were clearly eating in the wrong places. There is some amazing food here, both native and imported, if you look around a bit.

 No offence but that looks like a waffle that has aload of butter on top

It doesn't taste anything like waffle. It's not sweet. It's like a fairly dense bread. You stick loads of butter on and it melts into the holes, is the general idea.
I'm not actually overly fond of them myself. I much prefer toasted teacakes.

More than 250,000 people have attended a march and rally in central London against public spending cuts. That's what's going on.

Excellent. :)

Coming back to English food, the breakfast is boring! It is dry and mostly very sweet. Hardly any spice. I was to have it for 15 days when I was in Europe and I started skipping it a little after a week. I don't understand how it can be had for days on end.

Dry and sweet might cover toast and jam type stuff, but cereal's not dry on account of being in milk, and there are plenty of cereals around that aren't sweet.
However, none of this is a PROPER breakfast. A proper English breakfast includes some selection of bacon, eggs (various cooking options available), hash browns or fried potatoes, sausages, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc.

It is mostly dry skipping milk.
The non-vegetarian choices seem better, but the vegetarian choices are limited and very boring. And tomatoes and mushrooms and other raw vegetables and fruits don't really count.

If I could be bothered to cook it every morning, yes. Yes I would. Fortunately for my BMI, however, I'm rarely that motivated in the mornings.

NJ: The tomatoes, mushrooms etc are usually grilled.
