THAT WHORE! HARRY IS DRACO'S AND DRACOS ALONE!

But seriously, was was anybody else a little surprised at the erm...implications in some of the Harry/Ginny scenes?

I was. Book Six was kind of surprising from the other books but for Harry/Ginny shippers I'm sure there's an avatar that says: If Ron hadn't walked in on pg. 116...

Ginny is lame
she should have died

I think almost everyone on this fourm is in agreement on that point.

No. No, no, no. It's a scientifically proven fact that most 16 year olds want to have sex. I'm not surprised at all ;D

Also, I'm a big Ginny fan. She's smart, funny, and temperamental. What's not to love?

possibly by me >>)

Other than the Sueish tendencies.

I liked Luna.

Well, yeah. But considering it's a kids book...

Yes. Luna kicked ass. Ginny was too pretty, too popular, too bitchy (but adored regardless by everyone around her.)

And Harry's description in HBP of why he liked her (amazing quidditch player, pretty, outgoing)...it was those exact same qualities that made him like Cho. And that was supposed to be a 'purely physical' relationship. What makes Ginny so special apart from Cho, other than her lack of a dead ex-boyfriend and Mary Sue qualities?

I still think that the old Ginny and Neville should have gotten together.

I mean, Luna understood Harry and is defiantly not a Mary Sue.

Potter started as a children's book, but that was lost somewhere in Book 4-5.

It still has it's children story moments, though.

Which contributes to the cheapness of the dark parts.

The "old" Ginny had no character other than fangirling after Harry. JKR should have developed further her "possessed by Lord. V" side.

But Luna/Harry=

I liked her in Book 4. I thought that she'd eventually give up on Harry and grow up, kind of like Book 5 but not so Sueish......which admittedly wasn't as big until book 6.

Me too! I love Ginny. And I trust Harry's judgement.

Which is why I said almost.

Harry/Ginny only happened because JKR believed that one developed relationship Ron/Hermione was all her fandom can handle.

I don't mind Ginny.

She's not my favourite character, but I never thought she was too bad.

Exactly.

If she had recieved more of the limelight we probably would have seen more flaws and personality, but since she didn't, we don't know that much about her.

She could have. Harry and Ginny's relationship was under developed. It would have been better (it's hard not to be) if Harry began to like Ginny during year 6 then finally getting with her in Book 7.

And then the spider-man ending in Book 6 wouldn't occur...
