On the forum there hasn't been much support. And most people I know want Spain to win.

there's a lot of bandwagoners out there, during euro08 there were literally no spain flags on peoples cars and now everyone has one. After their Germany game, I went out and saw some kid wearing the number 9 shirt trying to bitchface like Torres like grocery shopping with his mother was srs business.

I support Brazil (mainly) because it has got awesome players and they have a very good style and their fans are wonderful. Italy; I always liked, I don't know why. I like watching their matches. Argentina because of Maradona and Messi (though, in the first few matches, he never seemed to pass the ball to anyone else).
I mainly support Spain because I prefer them to Netherlands. I mean, I like Sneijder but don't particularly care for anyone else. And I don't like their style much. And they defeated Brazil.

And, World Cups are seldom indicators of how good a team is playing. That is, once you reach the round of 16. You lose a match and you are out.

Brazil is going to take it in 2014 anyway so I'm not too disappointed.

Sometimes you need that pressure for a decent game. That Portugal vs. Brazil game was so boring because both of them had already qualified.

He has a better track record than any other crictic out there, it's not a coincidence, he either knows the future, or he's influencing the games with those creepy tentacles of his. The match was quite bad. They played badly (especially the free kicks. I would have volunteered to take them on their behalfs if I was in the stadium. I'm sure I would have got at least one in :P ) and played ugly too. (Especially Netherlands. The kick in the chest deserved a red card. Though some yellow cards were unnecessary.)
Yay, I at least got my final match wish right! Though it was some secondary wish.

About the Kolkata thing, it is easier said than done. Though it is in India, it is far away from Mumbai. And the players don't come often.
I'm going to become the PM of India and my first priority would be to invite all the greatest authors, sportspersons and academicians to my house. If they dare defy my order, I would send in people to kidnap them and would keep them hostages forever in my place.
