Well, my mom said something funny too, but inadvertently. During the Argentina match, the commentator was like, "It is Messi!" when he was running towards the Nigerian goal post. My mom wasn't watching the match, but then she looks up on hearing the commentator's high-pitched voice and says, "What is messy?".
But yeah, she has definitely heard of Messi.

Turns out it was actually something made up by a journalist from The Times, Graham Keeley

But yea, Spain's formation was all wrong, they should have brought Torres and Navas and maybe Fabregas out earlier but I guess they were a little overconfident. And now it's too late because even if Switzerland ties with chile and spain wins their next two games, Switzerland will still be one point ahead. So we have to win against Brazil to get through the next round which is going to be impossible. :cry: :cry:

I think Holland has the best chance out of uefa and supporting robin van persie is like supporting fabregas by proxy because look how they adore each other And Brazil or Argentina will probably win it as usual =[

Well, I think Argentina, Brazil, Italy and England (if they win matches now- I actually believe they would) would go the semi-finals.
