The Hobbit (because it is part of the trilogy, to me atleast)
The Fellowship of the Ring
The Two Towers
The Return of the king
I love them all but the Return of the King is a bit long winded and slow, I think it was because the war was making Tolkein depressed but I cant really remember

LotR is really starting to look aged.

Aged?

NEVER!!!

Return of the King rocks.

It's old. 'Old is gold' maybe, but it's old.

Old is gold, and you better believe it.

But it still rocks.

Heh, if the movies weren't so good, Lort would not rock.

The books are so much better than the movies.

And they would, even if they only had a cartoon strip.

They would still be THE Fantasy classic.

But would you be saying 'they rock'? Nope.

Yes, because I say that about everything I like.

I liked RoTK the best. The last page was so sad, but the part between the end of the war and the uprising in the Shire was so boring. Tolkien puts way too much description in his books.

The Hobbit comes second for me.

He does not.

Actually, I think I might like The Hobbit better.

It was too short, and it didn't have many really powerful people in it. But it was the kind of book that you appreaciate after reading the Silmarion. It's got normal people in it.

The Sil was kind of boring in some parts.

But I liked the Hobbit best because of the normal people thing.

Though there were almost no girls in it at all.

I liked some of the stories in the Unfinished Tales. Especially the one about Turin and "Aldarion and Erendis". Even if Erendis and her daughter act like bitches sometimes.

I liked Galadriel's stories.

She's my favorite character, apart from Frodo and Eowyn.

I liked Merry and Pippin, especially Pippin's accent in the books. Galdalf was one of my favourtie characters, but I liked them all.

Galadriel seemed more interesting when she was younger than in Lotr.

Yeah, she was.

But I still thought she was fascinating.

Meh, it seems all too Black and White when I re read it recently. 'The Greatest contemplorary epic of good vs evil' and all, but...
