Lol, I would laugh if they did use real wolves.

They'd have to be really stupid to do that.
Unless they were tame wolves of course.
Enemy at the Gates... pretty good.
Shame of the Super Son
Well for me the lord of the rings movies absolutly rocked!
They did use real wolves for some scenes. And yes, they were tame.
Have you seen the EE?
"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
Well, of course they were tame...

Has anyone seen the movie, Kingdom of Heaven? About the Crusades? The Crusades is one of my favorite topics, but I couldn't help thinking the movie had some fictional elements. It kinda made the view of the Crusaders a bit...shakey.
Above all, pretty good movie. I love the Crusades.
Nope.
All I know about it is it's about the Crusades and has Orlando Bloom in it.

If you don't like Orlando Bloom, forget he's in it. The movie is good.
Been meaning to see it, sounded good to me.

Kingdom of heaven is a great movie.
AIONIOS The Leper king was cool. :D
Yep, he was. Edward Norton's great as him. I liked how war was portrayed in that movie, it's such a refreshing change from all the HONOUR! and GLORY! stuff, which gets old quite fast. I don't know much about the Crusades, but I know that Balian's a fictional character.
Nothing to see here, move along.
Acctualy, he was real. The events portrayed in the movie were, for the most part, real. The romance and the "Saracens" (they were acctualy mostly Seljuk Turks) having siege instruments might have been fictional. But Balian was charged with Jerusalem's(they didn't make Jerusalam very realistic...much to small) defense, and was involved with all of the events involving Guy and Rayonald de Chatillion. And he did, in fact, surrender Jerusalem to Saladin. The movie probably takes place during the Second Crusade, or between the Second and Third. The Second was a Christian failure, as the movie shows, and the Crusaders lost Jerusalam. But in the Third Crusade, Richard the Lionhearted, King of England, reclaimed it.
Oh, and Godfrey himself wasn't Balian's father. Barisan of Ibelin was, and he was probably Italian.
But, for the most part, Balian is highly fictionalized in this film. But still good as Bloom!
Edit: I need to know if anyone has seen The Holy Grail. True comedy. True comedy.
I think quite a few people have seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
But how many have seen Spamalot as well?
