Okay I know I'm on a bit of a favorite's streak, but I'm curious. What are Bartimaeus fans favorite movies?

Off the top of my head: Cowboy Bebop, The Matrix, Spirited Away, the Lion King, Schindler's List, LotR:Fellowship, Chicago, Leon, Kill Bill:Volume one. There are more, but these are the ones I remember.
Nothing to see here, move along.

What is this "movie" of which you speak?

A still more glorious dawn awaits, not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise, a morning filled with 400 billion suns - the rising of the Milky Way
Pirates of the Caribbean. The best movie of all time.

I also liked Spirit. You can guess why.

I like a lot of movies in many different ways. It's hard to choose.

I was gonna start this thread! <_<

:D Fav movies: Pan's Labryinth (If it wasn't all in spanish!!!), Scary Movies 3, Saw 1+2, Queen of the Damned, The Mummy 1+2, Scorpion King, Furngully (Does anybody even REMEMBER that?), Pirates of the Carribean 2 (I also like 1 but I personally think 2 is better), Natinaol Treasure, Constantine, Secret Window, Cars (hehe), um....I can't think of any more at the moment....

And Sent's a geek. :P

I don't really have a favorite, but I suppose V for Vendetta would be one of the for the political subtext. The Good Shepherd was a good movie too. Children of Men was good too.

Yah! I have a fellow Pirates fan! I am obessed. And NOT because I like to drool over Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom like all those other idiots. It's just so good! Actually the second one was a bit of a dissapointment but still.

I also love Spirited Away - which I think someone mentioned. Have you seen any other movies by that director. Some of my other favorites are 'Howls Moving Castle' and 'Nausicaa'.

I love the Lion King - bit of a childhood favorite, but I still love it. Along with that I also still kinda like Aristocats - I dunno maybe it's a cat thing. I like LoTR too, of course.

Recent movies - who here has seen Casino Royale. SO good!

Edit: Upon reading above more clearly I noticed that someone has watched Schindler's List. Really good movie. Actually even though this is off topic if you like that movie you'll really like the book Night by Elie Wiesel. I'm starting a book review if you want to join in.

Night at the Meusem! (Spelled SO wrong) Rami Malek is SO cute! XD

I like the aristocats (Not like an altime fave) and PotC. I think 2 is better, though. And I can't wait for 3!

Only fangirls like Orlando Bloom. This is from EW: Anyone that will send us angry letters about Orlando Bloom, please go back to your homework.

God he's ugly - he's got stubby little dwarf hands. That and he can't act to save his life. Johnny Depp is an amazing actor, but he's not my fav.

Doy, I was the one who mentioned Spirited Away, TLK and Schindler's List. Howl's Moving Castle seemed too pretentiously abstract, Miyazaki took lots of artistic liberties with the book. Howl is freaking hot though.

I LOVED Aristocats, which reminds me...I forgot to mention The Fox and the Hound, which imo is the darkest Disney classic of the lot. (Hunchback of Notre Dame is also another atypically 'dark' movie) I remember how one review said it was like Brokeback Mountain with animals. Haha...It's really sad.
