My plays Warhammer. His stuff is all Tau. Never liked it much, but it's fun to paint the little models.

My brother is not the most artistic person.

As for the my copy of Eragon. I'd neevr read it so I had to try. It then was carried around in my bag for a day, stuffed into my locker, left on the bookshelf for too long, had water spilt on it and lots more.

I swear it was all accidental...

The nose isn't that good, Ianna. I liked the face on the one with the dark dress. You didn't make me sick I think.

Dragons are not in The Keys to the Kingdom, Hatching Magic, Elsewhere, except I'm not sure where Elsewhere fits in. Everyone I know thinks Eragon is good. They are all smart. One was in the spelling bee in Washington D.C.

Don't throw Eragon away. It'll take up trash can space. Don't burn Eragon because we already have problems with global warming. Don't spit on it and leave it in your locker. It will stink, and possibly rub off on you. If you don't want it, donate it, because they'll like it. If you don't agree, you're an oaf or imbecile. What ever you prefer. Or you shouldn't have bought it in the first place since it 'wastes your money' and it kills trees.

Ianna, when did you change your avi? I hadn't noticed, but then again I haven't been on in ages(Between lack of sleep and stress, I've developed a twitch in my eye...Though thank god now that schools out it's starting to go away...). Anyway, I like it.

So that makes you better than us because we're all oafs and imbeciles while you're at the top of the food chain solely because you enjoyed Eragon. I guess that means oafs and imbeciles enjoy original plotlines, eh?

Yes, it is.

Alright, there are many definitions of the word "smart". Everyone has different tastes and opinions.

We could always just recycle Eragon.

Most of us didn't waste our money on it. Practically everyone on this board was given it as a gift. A bad gift, but the giver didn't read the book, so this was unintentional.

Simply because someone is in a spelling bee doesn't make them "smart" in every area.

My reasons for thinking Eragon was awful, are as follows:

1. The sentance structure was bad. Reading his work was quite irritating as he barely ever put commas and periods in the right place.

2. He tries to enforce his beliefs on others using the books, and doesn't accept that there is more than one way of thinking about something.

3. Whenever he finds something difficult to write, he simply skips over it.

4. The plot was old. It has already been used a hundred thousand times.

Simply because the book has a dragon in it and not many other books do, doesn't make it original, this just supplies us with an unpredictable "costume" for the dragon's character.

Many, many, other books have dragons in them, and they are actually well written and original. I'll post a list in this thread, with my next post.

I have to comment on number four.

I still don't understand how he avoided a plagrism law suit from George Lucas and Christopher Tolkien....we could probably predict the end of book three by reading Lord of the Rings and watching Star Wars.

The "So does that mea I'm right?" bit was sarcastic.
