The villagers stood over the body terrified. Some shook violently, others just stared blankly. At first no one spoke. But after a few minutes...

“We must avenge him!” shouted Captain Internets.

There was a chorus of agreement from the villagers. They would have to find the wolf, and be sure that they were right this time. They could not make another mistake.

“But who?” asked Aggron.

“I don’t know” said N&B, still visibly upset.

The villagers began to argue loudly once again. Everyone accusing someone else, some shouting ‘Aggron!’ ‘Captain Internets!’ and even one ‘Jen!’ Soon everyone became so loud that nothing coherent could be made out. Just as the villagers were about to come to blows, one voice rang out above the others.

“What the hell is going on!?”

“It was her!” shrieked Luciene, pointing.

Mwamba marched up to them, having been absent for the discovery of the body. She looked very confused. Then she saw Nero’s corpse and paled.

“She’s always so quiet!” said Luciene “I always see her sneaking around just watching us. Like she was waiting for something. And an innocent person would be more upset!”

“I couldn’t have killed him,” said Mwamba desperately “I wasn’t even in the village last night.”

“Sure,” Jen was skeptical, “Then who did rip Nero apart like that? My poor Sentynel died for nothing!”

To her surprise Mwamba did not speak, only pointed at Luciene and Captain Internets.

She was not believed, and when pressed admitted she had no evidence. In their fury they dragged her to the water with screams of “Avenge Nero!” and a few cries of “For Didier!” and even one “Gladstone!” Mwamba fought for her life with the skill of someone well practiced, but they overpowered her and stuck her head under the water until the bubbles stopped.

Her body stayed in the same form. Human. It was not until they dragged her up on to the sand and searched her pockets that they found the small, silver badge of a government agent.

So villagers... you guys kind of suck. :P Was actually kind of reluctant to write Mwamba's death scene after Luciene told me about the My Immortal thing, but a job's a job.

Wolves, it's your turn. Also, I made a mistake; the clue last round was from Chapter 4 sorry. Find it and you can have a bonus vote next round. I think you're gonna need it.

By your logic, its obviously not me because I voted for Mwamba based on her lack of activity and I will vote for CI this round, as stated above.

And it could be anyone 'cos the person who got the bonus vote could have voted for you twice. Best way is to hope that everyone except the wolves will come forward and reveal their vote and we can figure out who voted for you and if its suspicious.

I find you suspicious, Luciene. Call it a gut feeling. You called for Mwamba's lynching, and now she's dead... And she was innocent yet suspected you!

I think we should lynch CI next.

ok maybe I accused Mwamba, but it was based on pretty flimsy logic and I didn't see any of you defending her.

But suddenly, all of you show up, calling me suspicious? This is the vote where, if we get this wrong and a commoner dies, the wolves win for sure. Choose carefully. I've made one bad decision. CI's been guilty all game.

Let's wait for the wolves, yeah.

One sad, miserable day passed. Another innocent victim. The villagers still pointed fingers at each other, still regarded each other with suspicion and a wary contempt. But they were much quieter than usual. There would be no more lynchings, at least not today. The faces of their dead fellows - especially those of Sentynel and Mwamba- weighed heavily on their minds.

Each time they had been so sure of their choice, so sure that they would stop the attacks; only to be proven wrong. This last they had killed someone sent to help them. A few took the initiative to try and reach the outside world, only to find all signals blocked. Another trick of the wolves, they supposed.

Finally, at sunset, one of the villagers couldn't take it anymore.

She grabbed what weapons she could, along with some gasoline and a lighter, and walked slowly, surely, to the edge of town. Wolves lived in forests, didn't they?

Nathanielandbartimaeus would smoke them out.

She poured the gasoline on as many dry leaves and twigs as were possible, until the can was empty. Suddenly she heard a growl.

She spun around and flicked the lighter open. Two wolves were staring at her with fear in their faces.

N&b grinned. Her eyes were cold.

“Let’s just see you try,” she said, her voice low, threatening.

The werewolves looked at each other, and seemed to make a decision. As fast as lightning the larger of the two leapt for N&b’s hand. She tried to move out of the way, but not before the wolf crashed into her, sending them both tumbling to the ground.
The lighter fell and set the forest floor ablaze. The wolf ran off after its fellow, yelping. Knocked unconscious by the attack, the flames engulfed N&b in minutes.

Well villagers, there's only 3 of you left. You need to kill someone this round or it's all over. Keep in mind that while there are only two wolves, someone is only infected and will show up as such. Feel free to spend as much time as possible debating; I've got a midterm on Sunday for a class I've only actually shown up to once so I doubt I'll be here much. :P

The clue for an extra vote this time is chapter 6 and it's a string of four words. Good luck.
