Clearly my fandom isn't as...evolved as yours...
Or perhaps I didn't have as much of an attachment...
Either way, the movie ending will be a shoker for those who haven't read it.
I don't do that. Others do though...

No, not really...
I could talk about the ending all day if I'm in the mood right now...

I didn't cry. I only cry during Order 66. Especially when Aayla dies. And Plo Koon. And Ki-Adi-Mundi. Boohoohoo. I'm in a SW mood right now.

Reminds me of the MADD video I saw today in class. One 10 month baby died from drunk driving and an eight year old too. So sad...and one of my friends (the one that looks like Thorn) grandparent died and some else's aunt died a couple of weeks ago.

Erm...Sent would know. As would anyone who had read Bone.
I agree with rubberchickenben Star Wars Episode III was very sad. I also cried when the Jedi died.

Attachment is forbidden. Possession is forbidden. Compassion -- which I would define as?unconditional love -- is essential to a Jedi's life. So, you might say that we are encouraged to love.

Mmhmm.
I hope Lucas re-does Episode I, inserting a CGI Yoda instead of that rag.

Oh geez...the only SW movie I watched was Episode 2! (I think I watched 4 too, but I'm not too sure...)

I need to get out and watch movies more. :hmm:

Yes you do so you can post in my favourite movie thread. :D
And you seem to become an imp. Care to celebrate on the New Rank Topic? ;)
The thing is, I'm really indecisive when it comes to choosing which movie is my favorite. Most of the movies I've watched really looked good to me, since I don't pay attention to most of the details much. However, when I watched Shrek 3, I noticed that they mostly used story elements that were cliche. For some reason I find that really sad. But I guess I should talk about this in your favorite movie thread :D

I never noticed that I was that close to being an imp. XD

Nat died  and right after he had gone from the semi-corrupted Mandrake back to Nathaniel.

(i didn't neccasarily cry at the end of Episode III but you know that feeling when you feel like youre going to cry but you dont?)

"You don't need to call me that" he said
"It's your name"
"No. My name is Nathaniel"

Yeah, that part sucked. But it was part of the process; if he hadn't changed then he wouldn't have sacrificed himself.
And at least Bartimaeus still lives.
Plus, what did you vote for?

Exactly why that makes the ending so sad. He could have had a second chance in life as a...er...*trying to look for the right word*...good person. (My vocabulary is so limited! :( )
