haha we have a psycho in our midst. The people who will die will be close to Harry, but not Harry himself...i KNOW this!

wrote:Maybe^^ but he is already pretty depressed from Dumbledores and Sirius's deaths. The book would have to go really dark and miserable to make Harry even sadder.
Rolwing can't do Dark, miserable for $hit. Never mind the romances...

i think the romance in the HP books has been done well. more like teenage crushes and relationships than marriage and soppy love cliches. there is alot of humour involved in the romantic side. e.g. ginny's poem in the 2nd book. haha
I hated all that teenage drama, it's already been done to death in TV, music and movies so i don't need to read about it, thanks. Rowling does Dark quite well imo, GoF is a good example of that.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Nope, it's pretty bad. Potter's roots are a children's novel. Magic wands, unicorns and Dark Lords. Now it's... mutated.

How is it mutated? the story has got darker as the characters have got older and more mature, and im guessing the readers have also. As Harry has grown so has the story and its depth.

Things like the 'Moster within' hugering to partake in Ginny's flesh are poorly written.

And plainly, it's formulaic. Harry endures the Vermons, Harry spends time with the weasleys, Harry gets to school, Harry gives exams, Harry show downs with Voldy.

Besides, the premise itself precludes all seriousness. Platform 9 3/4, indeed.

haha i can see what you mean.

I personally however, think that it is fantastically written...

But that's not going to happen in Book 7

He's not going back to school, so it might be a little different

And in GoF he didn't take exams.

And in Chamber of Secrets they were canceled.

So ha.

Who thinks the 'Please Serverus' meant "Don't kill me." and who thinks it meant " Continue your mission and kill me" and thats why Severus had lines of hatred in his face, because DD was making him do something he didnt want to do...
Yakaii Ghul
I don't know... DD wouldn't want to leave Harry alone against Voldy...
I don't care. He will return, I know.

How will he return?! He is dead! :sentynel:
Yakaii Ghul
Dead man always can return... :D He will return as a spirit or Idon'tknowwhat but he will. If not then I don't know what will happen :D
"Is that a unicorn? No I'll wear the purple shoes and who painted the kitten?"
he will return in the form of a talking picture
(I think it said something about a picture being painted of him)
A talking picture would so make his passing seem less tragic.
Nothing to see here, move along.

JK Rowling said he was dead.

But visited the set and told Dan Radcliffe that Dumbledore was giving her trouble. She said he was dead, but it's more complicated than that.
