India and Pakistan have a handful each, and North Korea have neither the missile technology nor the nuclear technology (that "nuclear test" could easily have been a lot of conventional explosive) to hit themselves, never mind anyone else.

Well, my only point is that you can't just go bomb someone because you don't like them. If the United States bombed Iran or whichever one we were talking about, then they would be expected to defend themselfs somehow. Even if they don't have the power needed to win, they would still put up a fight.

We were talking about Iraq, which can't keep control of itself, never mind the rest of the world. Iran doesn't have the technology to pose a serious threat to the US - short range ballistic missiles with conventional payloads only. Sure, the rest of the world would have a good shout at the US if they tried something like that, but there's nothing anyone could actually DO to them. They won't though. Carpet bombing or nuking a whole country is not something they'd do.

Didn't they do that once before?

If Bush hadn't stepped in, there'd be no war. Things would be tight between the US and Iraq, but there wouldn't be a war. Why should we care if they don't have any civils? Why should we step in and pretened to be the "parents"? Why aren't we doing that in Uganda?

Because Uganda doesn't have oil. And, it's the UN's job to be the parents.

Soo...who's the real brains in the Bush family? My money's on Barbara.

I don't contest that going to Iraq in the first place was a bad idea, but the mistake was made and there's no excuse for just walking away.

And no, Anuk, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Uganda's been in a civil war for...11 years. And nobody helps them. Why? What Luciene (sp?) said. Uganda's not important to us so we don't give a crap. <_<

There are civil wars all over the world. Why should we help any of them?
There are UN peacekeepers deployed to at least 18 different places at the moment. Uganda's war isn't exactly very big by global standards compared to many of the places peacekeepers, UN or otherwise, are deployed to.

England = England
Great Britain = England, Scotland, Wales.
United Kingdom (Of Great Britain and Northern Ireland)= England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland.

England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland were all seperate countries (Northern Ireland was part of Ireland) and are now constituent countries of the UK. In general language Britain/UK are considered the same thing. Its only you Americans that call the UK, England.

And she lives in London, specifically Buckingham palace, most of the time.
hi there
Oh yeah.

Cool, England....See, now I don't know what to call it. <_<

I find it highly amusing that so many Americans accuse all of Europe of hating America. Isn't it just as bad to accuse a whole continent of hating America as someone hating all America?
