Got themselves killed? They shot themselves.

I do beg to differ, it happens all the time, and people can be semi-insane or peacefully insane. Peacefully insane example would be a split personality dissorder where both personalities coexist. Not all split personalities are insane murdering madmen.

The Virginia tech thing is sad, my friends cousin died in it.

The boat thing sounds like a prank, not creepy. Thats like one of those big foot stories... Nessy ate all the crew of that boat Sent

Three Australian men, one in his 50s and two in their 60s? I find it unlikely that it's a prank... and a rather expensive one if it was. And besides, if it was, how did they get away?

Although, now that you mention it, they're in the right general area for the third part of the Call of Cthulhu, I believe...

well, it would have got them attention. and it wasn't a prank

here is how it happened.

They prepared dinner, put all their cell down and what not so they could begin eating. As they were saying grace they heard a noise from outside. They all go outside to see what it was. When they get on the deck nothing is there. Then all of the sudden a giant tentacle came up and grabbed them all. They didn't struggle so their was no sign of it. Instead of the people eating dinner, the Craken ate dinner. And thats where the people disappeared to.

Very neat kraken that can catch and eat three people without damaging their boat at all...

What about silent ninja assassins that came on board and pressured weak points in their necks and threw their corpses overboard then went on their way to fight the pirates? :ninja2: :pirate1:

Edit: Fine, fine I admit: I only wanted an excuse to use those smilies... <_<
And that one...
What if the old people just leaned too far over the railing and fell off?

All three of them? At the same time? Right before eating?

Well obviously, they stalked off into the night and vanished.

EDIT: On a side-note, the smillies look very odd when they're highlighted...
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

If they died in the ocean after falling off, the bodies would be discovered somewhere, eventually. If they swam away, why would they?

They were abducted by aliens. :sentynel:

I wouldn't be so sure - there's a lot of sharks around in those waters.

Sharks don't look for stranded people to just eat. They mistaken them for other animals, other than that they would be fine. Even if they mysteriously fell over board and drowned they would float to the surface and be found.
