Yep, that ad is right there now.

Global warming has absolutely nothing to do with oxygen.

Yes, but we're talking increases in carbon dioxide of 0.01% of the atmosphere as really rather big. The percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere is 21% or so.

Losing 0.02% of the oxygen in the atmosphere makes no difference. It would take a change of at least 3% for it to affect us. For that to happen, the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere would have to increase to over 1.5%, which would cook the world alive anyway.

I've read a book called Nostradamus: Visions of the Future. It was a good book. Did you know that Nostradamus predicted accurately the fate of all popes? There is much more, with exact dates etc. And there was something about 3 antichrists, one was napoleon, another hitler, and the third one is still debated. The book told a lot of how it would be. Some explosions in a sea near the middle east or something, I can't remember clearly now, but I really recommend that book. When I did some searches via google, I found that most sites are rubbish and have made way too specific conclusions to the meaning of certain verses probably b/c of the Iraqi war going on. Er well see for yourself.

And did you know Nostradamus's works were edited in the Middle Ages?

Have you seen original copies of Nostradamus' writing? Didn't think so. Therefore there's no way to prove that he actually said that and that his writing wasn't 'subtly' updated by the publishers.

EDIT: Ninja'd by Ptolemy.

Nostradamus' prophecies are often vague enough to refer to a lot of things. Out of all the people who have prophecized something, the chance is not too remote at least one will get a few things right then have lack of information provide a few possibilities.

:\ Oh well, if we die we die. No problemo.

My dog jumped when i started laughing at that "running out of oxygen" thing.
I loved the Bartimaeus books but, like all trilogies, it was way too short.
