I think Gladstone was referring to JS completing the book (acc. to the journal). Once he does (which should take less time), he might get time to check his inbox & send in a reply.

Hey, I know it was abt the card. I thought Gladstone introduced that link in his first post becoz he wanted us to know that JS would be shortly returning home & complete writing his current book. I thought that might then give him time to check his inbox & reply to our card.
