I don't think it's Mwamba, but oh, well...
"When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True story".
Well, it was the past history of the spirit. I thought it sounded stupid to just mention the spirit's name without giving any description. And yes, the spirit choose the name & I made the story.Seven Pentacles wrote:The description is great but what does it have to do with the spirit? Did the spirit tell you they wanted that name and you made up a story or what?
I don't know about that. The trilogy occurred after 1936 (as it was a 100 years after Gladstone's death). That is pretty close to the second world war. Or do you mean I should have written a different war-like situation? Where tanks and bombs are not used? I considered a espionage role for Aether, but somehow it didn't click.Apollo wrote:This description does not fit with the Trilogy's universe. Just pointing that out, folks.
? I hate having to say this but WILL THE WOLVES HURRY IT UP? SHEESH!Any sugguestions over who we shall kill my dear?SevenPentacles wrote:A-chan is? I hate having to say this but WILL THE WOLVES HURRY IT UP? SHEESH!
America did not exist. Remember, the magicians are struggling with American revolutionaries in the colonies throughout the series.nathanielandbartimaeus wrote:Well, it was the past history of the spirit. Astronomical Unit?Nero wrote:In the Bartimaeus trilogy, the main setting is in the PRESENT YEAR. But because it is an AU, all tech is about a century behind (with a few exceptions of course).
Which suggests it still follows the basic idea in regards to historical events, just farther behind. So we assume WWII will happen about 150 years on, switch up some dates, and be just fine.Apollooo wrote:America did not exist. Ah so it shall be like a suicide between lovers who both know they are doomed. Unorthodox maybe, but I shall comply. We'll go to the great unknown together!SevenPentacles wrote:You my dear.Mwamba wrote:Any sugguestions over who we shall kill my dear?SevenPentacles wrote:A-chan is? It's Sent. No one else would suggest computer wire xDnathanielandbartimaeus wrote:BTW, I forgot to mention, the strand of computer wire was suggested by the wolf. I think it makes the whole thing sound quite bizarre =D.
I wouldn't be foolish enough to suggest something so spectacularly likely to be linked to me.David Cat wrote:It's Sent.
