Another snippet of my conversation with Stroud while he was signing anything was that I asked him whether or not he actually reads the post outside the general questions. And he's been saying that he's been trying to as of late (which scares me a little I cannot lie O.o) And he expressed an interest in being able to see fanart. I'm hoping to create one giant post that would hopefully be visible to him that would be a giant gallery in case he actually does. :D This would be recent stuff like Airey-Chan and WhitePanda and the years-old things from members such as WinterTabby and AgiVega.

So alive members, could you just link everything you have? And who wants to help me trudge through old threads on this forum/livejournal/deviantart for stuff?

Ohh man I had this cache of nice BT fan art - some from other places than dA (Bartimaeus is surprisingly popular in Japan, pfff). Not mine, but I could post them?
And uh, I guess I could dig around to see if I have any old fan art in my hard drive/scribbles in the margins of school work. Rustle up a comic, if I have time between projects.

If he was ever looking for fan input when choosing actors for the movie, that could have been a deciding factor. But the comments were slightly less than stellar anyway, it's probably for the best.

I have some stuff on my DA account. However, I can draw something special for this. I'm getting the feeling everyone shall be drawing Bartimaeus, Nathaniel, or Kitty, so I think my contributions will be more along the lines of Quentin, Faquarl, Lovelace, and Jabor. When do you need this stuff in by?

Already have some of the mentioned fan art from Japan (they're the oldest twenty or so; more YMMV) and some of the more obscure (but very nice) pieces from dA. I'll upload some of the more well-known art later (the ones you can find right away on the front page by typing 'bartimaeus' into the dA search engine).
Also I did the favor of excluding romantically-inclined fan art, no matter how nice it was, cause hey, no actual romance occurred in the series and I have the feeling that JS may be slightly discomfited to see it (they sure like Bart/Ptolemy over there in Japan).

edit2: found the comics. They're in a separate album/category, for easier reading convenience.

I just realised that I'm old enough now that my perpetual crush on Ptolemy is getting a bit weird.

The photobucket gallery is starting to get kind of big... should it be divided into more categories? (i.e., sketches and colored)

edit: ALSO are Nathaniel's eye canonically blue? They seem to be drawn that way in a lot of art, and someone told me it said so in the books but I could never find it... huh.
