Being amusing and having funny hair are not useful qualities in a politician.

I rather like Ken Livingstone, actually. He's made a lot of good policies and doesn't fall victim to the rapidly changing views of the terminally short attention span of the public and popular media, but continues to do what he does.

Very.
On the Political Compass test I get:
Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -9.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.31
(that is, very strongly left wing and very strongly libertarian - voluntary collectivism; that is, anarchism (but don't worry, I don't have any Molotov cocktails))

Heh.
I'd re-take it, but there's an assembly in ten.

Why can't you just buy a laptop? The cheapest ones here that are decent quality are about 450 Canadian Dollars. Maybe a bit more, but it's close enough.
Nero. There are some people in the world )myself included, who HAVE no money.

Beg your parents is what I mean. I know that obviously most people won't have that much money. I do, but then I'd have very little money left.

Gladstone could pay for it... XD

You joking? I thought Labour was left.

Originally Labour was left wing, yes. See the '72 and '82 marks on the graph. New Labour jumped right into the currently popular area on the graph, moderately right wing. Level of authoritarianism/libertarianism is the only thing really separating the parties now.
Here's a graph of all the semi-big parties from the 2003 election:

The Greens fall on the right place on the graph for my political views, but unfortunately I wouldn't actually trust them to run a country. Bunch of incompetents.. They can hardly agree on their own policies.

Moral of the story: do your research before voting. UK parties are no more left wing than the American ones are:

Anyway, is the media right-winged, left-winged, or balanced and fair in England, Sentynel?
It tends to be left-biased here.

Our dollar isn't that weak. Not as weak as the American Dollar. =p

I would have expected Senators Clinton and Obama to be more left, as well as Edwards.

They're very left-wing for America, but on a global scale they're still right of centre.

Here's my position on the graph:
