The HDM trailer looks great. The director seems to have gotten the epic quality of the books. The reference to LotR at the beginning of the trailer gets a 'Heh' from me.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Krim, don't you mean hormonal?

Why is everyone so obsessed with the Pirates of the Carribean movies? They were entertaining, but I don't think that they're worthy of this much whorship.
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

Arti doesn't understand the greatness that is Jack.

(Then again she probably thinks I'm a total mental case after she heard the plan)
There is a sort of busy worm,
That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

Jack is an uneducated FICTIONAL character. He has no decency, survives mostly on luck, no recognizable moral code, no personal hygene and would rather run than fight. he's also a pervert.

Doesn't this basically sum up Bartimaeus?

Damn you Art, there goes my Bartimaeus worship...<_<

I couldn't go yesterday because I was an astronaut in a space simulation. It was a failure. The commander stole my job (drilling expert) and there was fighting and mutiny. But fun nonetheless.
I wish I were a cat-dragon
Musical.

I SAW JACK! His face was right there - on the screen - Better than the second one, not as good as the first. Jacky does the right thing on several occasions (gasp) Will is hurt (yay!) and you get to see into Jacks mind - very scary place that it is. :D All the things needed for a good movie.

And Arti:

1. If your going to blame Jack for lack of Hygene you might as well blame everyone in the movie.
2. He does have a moral code, he just trys to ignore it. (see third movie)
3. If he didn't surrive on luck he wouldn't be Jack.
4. Most people would rather run than get killed. It's common sense. Plus he is a pirate.
5. And as to the pervert comment he is a guy. Plus he shows restraint on several occasions (again see movie #3)

Also true. All of these are good reasons as to Jacks greatness. You love him Arti, don't deny it.

Why don't you go see it at the cinema? It is much better to watch it there than a pirated (pun intended) copied.

The quality is actually pretty good. And it's my silent protest against POTC4

Anyway, I was busy last weekend.

I too am against a POTC4.
