When did this forum celebrate it's second anniversary?

I guess it will be 2 more years until the forum's 5th anniversary, and that would be 1 year after the film came out (if it does come out in 2009, like expected). Also, the film would make this place a lot more crowded than usual...

Like most people here, Wikipedia's how I came here too. :D

Thanks! I got a reply after a real long time.
I came here via jonathanstroud.com, which I think is mentioned in the books.

Second anniversary was October last year iirc.

Did anyone here think of a Bart version of Wikipedia, btw? Like a WikiBartiPedia or soemthing like that...just wondering.

Something like that existed on this forum, problem was there's alot of content to produce and it became a dead forum. Also Stroud mentioned writing the Bartimaeus Bible, which may or may not still be going ahead.

We do still have the posts which made it up, if there was enough interest again in contributing it might be possible for it to make a re-appearance.

however a wiki would be more usable that the encyclopaedia we had

We could dig up old discussion threads, and reap all the information possible.

That'll be fun. <_<
Yes, it might, as far as people did keep to the topic. Nowadays, no one does.

This is pretty on topic.

We would probably make Stroud proud.

Nat registered a wiki a while back. Not sure what exactly happened to it, even so another could be registered. Is this something people are seriously interested in contributing to? For interest I'll see how much information already exists in the Omnipedia we had here.

Infact, have a look yourselves.

Not necessarily. Just something I felt like mentioning was possible.
That one was actually pretty good.
This forum is running for eternity, right?
Sorry for going off-topic, but just curious.

Yup. This forum is eternal and constant, as are its ageless admins. We didn't get many members before the books were released, though..

Then came along Leonard Kleinrock with his paper and the rest of the team...
Unless old Gladdy in the avatar was one of the members...
So the forums will go on forever, huh? Like "The Song That Never Ends"! (Except less annoying) :D
